About Binary Version

libasterix can be delivered as pre-compiled dynamic/shared lib.

A standard delivery includes files for windows 32-bit and 64-bit

• header files (*.h)
• dynamic lib files (*.dll, *.so, *.dylib)
• library files (*.lib *.exp, *.a)
• API manual (in PDF and HTML format)
• Example (C code and pre-compiled execuable)

Binary delivery for other operating system can be supplied on demand.

About Source Code Version

libasterix can be delivered as source code.

A source code delivery includes all files included in binary version plus source code of the library.

• header files (*.h)
• source code files (*.c)
• dynamic lib files (*.dll, *.so, *.dylib)
• library files (*.lib *.exp, *.a)
• API manual (in PDF and HTML format)
• Example (C code and pre-compiled execuable)

About License Key

Customer of “libasterix SDK Binary” version will receive a key looking like “XXXX-YYYY-MMMM-NNNN”.

It needed to init the library with a valid license key before calling any other API of the lib.

Customer of “libasterix SDK Source Code” version doesn’t need any license key to use the lib.

About Limitation

The library itself doesn’t contain any kind of limitation except license key checking.

Customer can freely copy, compile, link, and redistribute it together with their own software.

The only limitation is customer can not resell the library to a third party, no matter the key or the source code.
